July Update

Today is the 14th of July, 2010.

The day in which my auntie will hopefully (not the ''normal'' way - she's having the operation kind)be giving birth to another baby cousin.

It's also the day which I have handed out one of the 2 handcrafted pieces, to my IT teacher - Miss Strain. (The other one's for Miss Hodson - Form Tutor)
She's leaving for a job as Head of IT in Chester so I've decided to make her something - something that she will hopefully treasure forever :) (which also links into the name 'Zephaniah'.

I'm leaving for Paris next Monday morning in an art trip with school.. so these few days are my only chance to complete and give the pieces to teachers.
Last week I really didn't have faith in myself that I could complete these pieces because of an injury last Wednesday.

My right hand index finger was crushed / bent backwards during Basketball so I couldn't hold a pen properly let alone handle pliers and delicate findings.

Miss Strain's Reaction:~
She was.. surprised and happy in a way with a hint of amazement :)
Afterwards she came to talk to me and said that I should start a business one day .. she also said that she'd walk in seeing me sitting behind a desk.. and she would buy every piece
haha :)

~Best IT teacher ever.. Miss Strain's:~*

Miss Hodson's:~*

*How I wired the beads onto the chain*
**FYI the amount of pictures per Teacher doesn't mean how much I 'like' them.. it's just that I had more time to figure out the right lighting for Miss Hodson's...**

***Not that I don't care about Miss Strain's though..***

right.. rant over, have a nice day/night depending where you are right now and what time it is..

*~About Zephaniah's Collection~*

Zephaniah is a male name; meaning 'Treasured by God'. I am a student currently in England, United Kingdom. If you ask any of my friends to describe me; you are guaranteed an answer of either artistic or talented (lol).

I started to make jewellery in November 2009 for birthday and Christmas presents for friends and family. Ever since, I have been inspired by many things to create unique, handmade pieces.

From the moment I had the idea to make a 'Twilight Bella Bracelet' I just knew that in the future I would like to continue making jewellery for both entertainment and as a career.

Hopefully, in the near future all my pieces will feature a finding or two that is of Swarovski Crystallized Elements.
